Forensic Hypnosis
When memory holds the missing piece, forensic hypnosis helps witnesses and investigators recover details the conscious mind has buried.
How it shows up
Forensic hypnosis is used in law enforcement and legal settings when a witness or victim has information that can’t be retrieved through standard interview methods. Often the details aren’t gone; they’re buried in the subconscious, overwhelmed by stress or trauma during the original event. That can mean a forgotten license plate number, a suspect’s identifying feature, or the sequence of events during a traumatic incident.
How hypnotherapy helps
Pattie is a Certified Forensic Hypnotist who uses hypnosis as a hyper-focusing tool to help witnesses and victims access memories that traditional interviewing can’t reach. Sessions follow strict professional protocols: no leading questions are ever used, and every session for investigative purposes is recorded on video and audio and witnessed by independent observers, to protect the legal integrity of anything recalled.
She has assisted with legal and assault cases, helped recover lost or stolen valuables, and worked with clients processing traumatic memories where the details had become difficult to access consciously. Forensic hypnosis can be used for cases involving theft, assault, accident reconstruction, and other situations where recalling specific details matters.
What a session looks like
Every new client or referring party starts with a consultation to discuss the case and confirm forensic hypnosis is the appropriate approach. Standard sessions run $150 each; forensic and legal cases are discussed individually given the protocols involved.
