Everything I do is rooted in neuroscience — how your brain forms patterns, and how it lets them go.— Pattie Freeman

MythYou're unconscious the whole time.

FactYou stay aware the whole time — hypnosis isn't sleep, it's a focused, relaxed state your brain already knows.

MythThe hypnotherapist controls you.

FactYou're always in control. No one can make you do anything you don't want to do.

MythIt's a stage trick.

FactIt's studied, not staged. Clinical hypnotherapy is used alongside CBT and EMDR — this is brain science, not a stage act.

MythIt does the work for you.

FactYou do the changing. Hypnosis strengthens your own resolve — willpower still matters.
